Harvesting the singing treasures this September
Like our long furry-tailed friends, for me, Autumn is a time to gather and store.
What are you foraging for this squirrel season?
If you're looking to crack a few vocal nuts, buzzing, humming, sliding and yawning will help reawaken your voice.
If it's all feeling a bit frantic, taking a few minutes to anchor into deep belly breathing with long slow hums and vowels can soothe frazzled nerves.
If you're ready to take a flying leap to a new branch, a liberating shake and sound for a few minutes can reboot and refre.
It never fails to amaze me how the magic of singing can meet us wherever
we are - there really is a song for every season!

* Amongst my summer bookworming, I had a very satisfying munch through 
Folly Ditch, the latest literary thriller from writer Anna Sayburn Lane.
Anna reflects on the seasons with me in this creative conversation and shares her writing tips in this episode of Vocal Revolution Podcast.
* Croydonites Festival is back with an inspiring range of performances including Gill Manly's new play The Benefactress starring Joanna Scanlan -
